Alexander's Start

More than two decades ago, Alex Khvalsky started his career in fine jewelry and watches as the Timepiece Coordinator for a jewelry boutique at Easton Town Center. As Alex’s expertise in luxury timepieces grew, he decided it was time to strike out on his own. In 2000, the doors to Alexander’s Jewelers opened in the Short North Arts District of Columbus. Because of his collection of sought-after timepieces and luxury jewelry from renowned brands, Alex was named "The Face of Luxury Watches" in Central Ohio by Columbus Monthly magazine in 2016.

The Short North

Known as the “Jeweler of the Short North,” Alexander’s is proud to be based in this eclectic and creative neighborhood. Located just north of downtown Columbus, the Short North has been a bustling hub of Ohio’s local art scene since the 1980s. Marked by the distinctive lighted arches over North High Street, this area is known for being home to the city’s most recognizable landmarks, as well as its most popular regional boutiques, restaurants, bars, and art galleries.

Alexander Khvalsky

For over two decades, Alexander has been passionate about luxury jewelry and watches. Starting as a Timepiece Coordinator for a luxury jewelry store, he eventually opened up Alexander’s Jewelers where he helps clients find one-of-a-kind pieces.

R. Shane Hampton

Shane started out as a client initially and now is the Manager and has been with Alexander’s Jewelers for over 13 years. Shane has a true talent in cultivating relationships and making clients feel truly special.

Lee McKenny

Lee has been working in the jewelry industry for over 30 years and currently is a Bridal and Repair Specialist. Lee has worked at Alexander’s Jewelers for nine years.

Gabriele Scales

Gabriele has worked for Alexander’s Jewelers for over five years and has over 25 years experience in jewelry. Gabriele is from Germany and is a Bridal Specialist.

Ekaterina Nemova

Ekaterina (Katia) is originally from Russia and has worked for Alexander’s Jewelers for nearly five years. Katia currently works as a Sales Consultant.

Rodney Bliss

Rodney is a very talented Master Goldsmith with over 25 years of experience.  Rodney loves to create custom pieces that will last a lifetime.
