The Zenith El Primero Tourbillon Ref. 18.2051.4035 is an exceptionally rare interpretation of one of the most important high-frequency chronograph movements in Swiss watchmaking. Crafted in 18K rose gold and limited to only five pieces, this unusual reference combines Zenith's legendary El Primero architecture with a tourbillon, creating a watch that is both mechanically serious and extraordinarily scarce. At its heart is the El Primero Caliber 4035D, an automatic tourbillon chronograph operating at the El Primero's signature 36,000 vibrations per hour, or 5 Hz. That high frequency enables the chronograph to measure elapsed time to 1/5th of a second. The tourbillon sits prominently at 11 o'clock, completing one rotation every 60 seconds while simultaneously carrying the small-seconds indication. Even more unusual is Zenith's patented date system, with the date indication arranged around the circumference of the tourbillon carriage. 

The 44mm rose-gold case gives the watch considerable presence, while the grey-brown dial, green accents, black alligator strap, and visible tourbillon create a configuration far removed from a conventional El Primero. With its combination of a high-frequency automatic chronograph, tourbillon, patented date display, precious-metal construction, and five-piece production, the 18.2051.4035 represents an exceptionally uncommon chapter in Zenith's modern haute horlogerie.
