Housed in an elegant 39mm 18K yellow gold case, its hand-guilloché silvered gold dial manages to incorporate an impressive collection of indications while maintaining the symmetry and refinement associated with the Classique collection. Traditional Roman numerals, heat-blued Breguet hands, coin-edge case detailing, and carefully differentiated guilloché patterns give the watch unmistakable Breguet character.

The centerpiece is its mechanical alarm complication. The alarm time is displayed on the subdial at 3 o'clock, while a dedicated power-reserve indicator between 10 and 12 shows the energy available to power the alarm. A separate indicator beneath 12 o'clock shows whether the alarm is activated. The watch also incorporates a second time zone at 9 o'clock, along with small seconds and a date display at 6, making the Réveil du Tsar particularly capable as a travel watch. Breguet's own instructions confirm that both the movement and alarm are automatically rewound while the watch is worn.

Inside is the automatic Breguet Caliber 519F, a 38-jewel movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and providing approximately 45 hours of power reserve.
